Ocean Springs Restaurants

Ocean Springs sits just across the Biloxi Bay Bridge from Biloxi, and it eats like a different town. Downtown is a few blocks of Government Street and Washington Avenue with a restaurant for nearly every mood: a 1948 French Creole dining room, a roadside barbecue joint with a live blues band, a donut shop that has opened before dawn since 1960.

Start with breakfast. Lazy Oak Bistreaux does New Orleans-style brunch on Porter Avenue, The Lady May is the pick for fried chicken and biscuits, and Tatonut Donut Shop is the early, no-fuss answer to a donut craving.

For dinner, Trilby's is the dress-up night and Maison de Lu is the more relaxed downtown bistro. When you want something looser, Woody's Roadside has the Cheese Bombs, Government Street Grocery has the patio, and The Shed BBQ has the music.
